A.B. Parr
Moment of Inspiration
In 1983, A.B. Parr was in San Jose, California. It was a warm sunny day and the motes danced in the shafts of light piercing the bedroom window. I had been aggravating my mother, as children tend to do, and she handed me a copy of The Hobbit and a copy of Dracula. These books occupied a massive space in my childhood. It all started in a small warm spot on the carpet. Of course, there was a struggle, but I read, and reread, these two books over the entire year. This moment defined my love of books and the written word. I've been writing since. However, it was only for myself; I had hidden stacks of notebooks in the attic. It wasn’t until 2022 that I decided to do something with my writing. Thank you for joining me on this adventure.
I listen to music as I write, the experience creates an interwoven tapestry.
